The Jersey Devil has a rich and deep history that has burrowed into the collective subconscious. Unique amongst creatures, he flies through the night sky, tree top to tree top. Stories of his beginning speak of a pact with the devil, but stories of seeing him are far less moralistic. Instead he is a terrifying creature that defies logic or description. Yet many stories tell of his indifference to people. What is he? is he a he at all?
Like the many denizens of the deep dark forest. the Pine Barrens are a perfect example of the ancient forest that our nightmares come from. You can bet that Young Master Leeds is not the only monster that lurks in its canopy….
