Paranormal University is an intensive workshop designed to educate enthusiasts on all aspects of paranormal including history of the movement, modern science, theories, common practices and techniques, industry standard equipment, methodology and critical thinking.
Instructor Kathy Kelly of Haunted NJ Shore, along with other guest speakers, will help you gain a wider perspective and sound knowledge on the paranormal movement through the use of presentations, interactive demonstrations and hands-on training, all of which draw from her 20+ years of experience of research and investigating the unexplained.

Electronic Voice Phenomena are brief recordings of speech captured on electronic devices, which have no known explanation. They are purported to be the voices of those who linger with us after surviving physical death, communicating from the afterlife. In this class, we will examine the history, evidence and theories surrounding EVP. We will also feature a hands-on demonstration of the various methods which investigators employ to obtain and analyze electronic voice phenomena while on investigation or for research purposes. Digital audio recorders will be provided for the duration of class. Students are welcome to bring their own devices and a selection of digital audio recorders will be available for purchase in the store, discounted especially for Paranormal University students.

This class is designed as a follow-up to The Art of Tarot I, or for students who already have a good foundation of knowledge and understanding of each card in the tarot deck. This class will go in-depth on advanced styles of readings and layouts.
Please be advised, many paranormal groups will offer "certification courses" designed to give amateur investigators a false sense of credibility. They will charge exorbitant fees in exchange for a piece of paper that is not recognized by any college, university or educational institution. Paranormal certifications are a SCAM, simply stated. You do NOT need certification to study, research and investigate the claims of paranormal activity.

Kathy Kelly, Founder of Haunted NJ Shore, will outline the process and methodology her group employs during paranormal investigating for those interested in exploring the paranormal or for those starting their own ghost hunting group. Through in-depth presentations and hands-on demonstrations, students will be trained to perform the basic steps before, during and after a standard paranormal investigation, including client interviews, equipment use, current paranormal theory, evidence review and client follow-up. The class will culminate with a trip to a well-documented haunted location where students will get to apply their new skills by participating in a real paranormal investigation.
