Expedition: Gettysburg

March 10-11th, 2012

JOIN THE HUNT with Paranormal Books as we investigate reports of paranormal activity on America’s most famous battlefield. Expedition Gettysburg will include a walking tour of the historical town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and a hosted tour of paranormal “hot spots” such as Devils Den, Little Round Top and the Peach Orchard. When the sun sets you will participate in a real paranormal investigation on the battlefield, equipped with the latest in paranormal technology and guided by members of Haunted NJ Shore. To conclude your experience, you will continue the search foe spirits with an overnight stay at a haunted historic hotel.

1. 1)Tickets are $225 per person (single occupancy) or $175 (double occupancy). Space is extremely limited and advance reservations are required. Travel and meals not included.
   

2. 2)Alcohol is not permitted. Persons under the influence of alcohol will be removed from the investigation for their safety, as well as the safety and enjoyment of other investigators. No refunds will be issued.
   

3. 3)Cancellation policy will be 100% of the ticket cost if made 72 hours in advance of event. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to event will be refunded at 50% and there is NO REFUND for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior. Cancellations must be made in person or by phone at 732-455-3188. Email is not accepted for cancellations.

Beyond the Veil: Séance

Join us at Paranormal Books & Curiosities as we reach across the great divide and attempt to contact those who have crossed over into the afterlife with a séance! Our séance will be led by one of Paranormal’s guest Mediums, who will invite the departed to the table. Through their gifts, they allow the spirits the ability to communicate through them in order to convey messages from friends and family. Space is very limited and tickets are $20 per person. We look forward to seeing you around the table!

100 Candles

Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai (A Gathering of One Hundred Supernatural Tales) was a paranormal parlor game during feudal Japan. In a room, as night fell, one hundred candles are lit. Guests and players gather around the candles, taking turns telling ghost stories. After each story, a single candle is extinguished. The room slowly grows darker and darker and the spirit world grows closer and closer. When the final candle is blown out, it is believed that a spirit will be able to cross over and manifest itself. The evocation game is thought to have been originally created as a samurai test of courage.

100 Candles will be held at Asbury Lanes where paranormal activity has been extensively documented. Space is extremely limited and reservations are required.

Expedition: Eastern State Penitentiary

Join us at Paranormal Books & Curiosities for a PRIVATE paranormal investigation inside one of America’s most haunted prisons! You’ll be equipped with the latest ghost hunting technology and led by members of Haunted Jersey Shore into Eastern State for a FOUR HOUR investigation to search for paranormal evidence.
